Eczema
Eczema is a chronic skin condition that affects people of all age groups, from babies to adults
Despite advances in medicine, some people struggle with severe eczema problems, even when using common treatments like corticosteroids. In this article, we will explore why eczema is often not fully resolved and how to cure it once and for all.
Eczema can be caused by various factors, including genetic predispositions, the immune system, the environment, and lifestyle.
Some individuals may be genetically prone to eczema, meaning they are at a higher risk of developing it.
Traditional eczema treatments include using corticosteroids and other ointments to suppress inflammation and itching.
However, despite these medications, some people continue to face difficulties.
This is because traditional doctors often address only the symptoms, not the underlying cause
Let me give you a simple analogy.
If you throw a beautiful white tablecloth over a very dirty and spilled table, after a while, it will still start to smell…
If I suppress the symptoms—itching—I won't heal the eczema. The skin is the largest organ in the body, and it is also the most visible. You can imagine that it is the fastest communication tool our body has with us.
Once a problem arises in the body that it can't resolve on its own, eczema appears to make it visible. We can't escape it, it's always in front of our eyes, and it will "annoy" us until we help the body resolve it, or better yet—stop preventing its self-healing abilities.
Let's not generalize all doctors. There are some who investigate where eczema comes from and when it worsens.
They might recommend a visit to an allergist to identify potential allergies.
Based on the results, the patient eliminates certain foods from their diet, which may improve the eczema.
The body gets relief and has space for self-healing. Eczema improves. However, some people prematurely celebrate that they have cured their eczema.
Unfortunately, it's not uncommon that after a while, the number of allergens increases, and the eczema patient becomes more sensitive. So, if a food merely "passes by" gluten, the whole body starts itching.
How is this possible?
Because eliminating a food from the diet is still not the solution. The food and the allergy itself aren't the main cause, but only a trigger.
When there is already a problem in the body and the body is trying to resolve it with all its strength, we don't help by adding chocolate, wine, gluten, or lactose to it.
Allergies also have their own cause, and the solution is not to avoid a specific food, remove it from the diet, and never consume it again.
The way is to heal your body so it can process that food again.
It’s probably no news to you that the health of the body lies in the gut. The process of cleansing the body and complete healing from the ground up, starting with the gut, can be difficult and lengthy. However, it will lead to a completely new body full of energy, vitality, and strength. But there is one catch… Even with a perfectly balanced diet and a healthy gut microbiome, eczema can reappear.
How is this possible?
We’ve healed the body, the cause has been addressed, so where is the problem? We are not just physical bodies. We also have a psyche.
Just as our gut needs to be healthy, our psyche also longs for (cleanliness).
Throughout our lives, we accumulate various emotional traumas, grievances, pain, betrayal, unrest, sadness… No one taught us how to handle them. As children, we might have heard:
“Don’t yell. Calm down immediately. Stop crying, you have no reason.”
From this pattern, we learned that we must suppress, hide, and repress our emotions. We couldn’t give them free rein. As a result, they stayed in our bodies, and according to this pattern, we continued to hide every emotional pain that life threw at us. Now, they are so many that as soon as we are alone—without the phone, TV, or the noise of people—we begin to feel uneasy, sad, and somehow "strange."
It’s no wonder.
And it’s not your fault.
But today, we have ways to release these stuck emotions and burdens in our psyche.
Because suppressed emotions (meaning, when we say "NO," I won’t deal with this emotion, I won’t be sad, I won’t cry, I’m a strong person and nothing will break me…) are disease.
That’s why more and more people are talking about how diseases have a psychological cause.
It’s still a trend to search for these causes in hypnotherapy or meditation by digging into your past.
But I’ll share something with you that I believe will comfort you.
It’s not necessary.
To cure eczema (or any other illness or discomfort), you don’t need to go to therapy for years and dig through your childhood.
Why
Because simply discovering it won’t help. When you find out that your parents rejected you from conception and didn’t want you, it will explain why you feel so unwanted in this life, but it won’t solve the eczema. Understanding might be relieving, but it doesn’t solve anything.
The road to healing leads through emotions.
You need to release the emotion tied to your state from your body. Let go of the grievance, heartache, betrayal, deep sadness…
For that, Bach Flower Remedies are the ideal helpers.
They will identify the root cause of the problem and begin releasing emotions from your bod
You don’t need to go to therapy for years.
These flower extracts were developed by Dr. Edward Bach and aim to harmonize emotional imbalances.
Eczema can be a challenging condition, and although traditional medicine offers several treatment options, some people find relief through lifestyle changes and mental health care.
It’s important to pay attention to overall health and look for causes that could contribute to the development of this skin condition.
From my practice as a Bach Flower Remedies practitioner, I have noticed a very common and recurring phenomenon.
Mothers reach out to us about eczema in their children and also mention that their children don’t sleep or sleep poorly, have trouble falling asleep, or wake up frequently.
I see that eczema often goes hand in hand with sleep problems.
When I want to treat eczema in an infant, I first focus on the mother..
Because such a small baby mirrors the struggles of its mother. I have found that over 90% of cases share the same factor—stressful pregnancy and a long difficult birth.
This naturally had an impact on the baby's emotional state, so we always treat both the baby and the mother using Bach Flower Remedies tailored to their needs.
With them, we can dissolve stuck emotions and process traumatic experiences of both individuals.
I’ve noticed that in adults, eczema is often caused by some emotional block, often related to a lack of self-love, and is often associated with negative attitudes such as anger, jealousy, and criticism.
That’s why I firmly believe that the key step in treating eczema is to address the psyche, emotions, and blocks.
Today, we have excellent opportunities for this, including Bach Flower Remedies.
